R. Scott Study, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Study has nearly 30 years of leadership and management experience acquired in a number of diverse executive positions within the commercial aerospace, financial, and US Government defense-contracting arenas. Prior to joining Cohort International, Mr. Study was Vice President of the Republic Services Group, consulting clients on government contract acquisition strategies. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Study regularly initiated the development and successful implementation of competitive, large-scale business strategies for commercial and government clients. He has previously held management positions at Rockwell International, McDonnell Douglas, and Lockheed Martin, where he effectively applied his knowledge of program management, organizational transformation, business process innovation, and best-practices methodologies to numerous complex projects. His depth of knowledge in the fields of financial planning, budget development and execution, private investment, mergers and acquisitions, research and development, and operations at US Government agencies have been major contributions to Cohort International’s business development and design strategies.

R. Anthony “Tony” Deibler, Vice President for Operations

Mr. Deibler is a former U.S. Marine combat veteran having served in numerous specialized units and on special security assignments. He has attained international recognition for his service as a U.S. Federal Agent and Diplomatic Security advisor to numerous U.S. Ambassadors, foreign governments, U.S. corporations and the U.S. military over a 29 year U.S. Government career. Tony has been responsible for extensive security operations as a government agent and independent advisor around the globe, including assignments in Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bosnia, Liberia, Lebanon, the UK, and Germany, as well as South and Central America. Mr. Deibler is the only officer in the history of the U.S. State Department to receive four Medals of Valor.

Prior to joining Cohort International, Mr. Deibler was a highly sought consultant, designing and executing the strategic planning and development of foreign and domestic security training for a number of Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Deibler has an extensive background in Threat Mitigation, Emergency Planning, Preparedness and Emergency Evacuations, Physical Security Planning, Training of Government, NGO’s, corporations as well as private personnel and military being assigned to Critical and High assignments. Mr. Deibler graduated from Ohio University having studied Political Science and International Relations.
